February in the Efrochim class has been filled with different class projects. The children have been busy doing stamp handprints, rice and ice with color, painting on foil, and shaving cream on tables. Stickers are also the latest and greatest in the Efrochim class, so the kids have been putting stickers on everything and loving that.
The stickers are also a great learning tool, as they help the kids work on their fine motor skills. The rice and ice and shaving cream activities are also wonderful for sensory building.
We read the book, “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive The Bus”. It is an interactive book where the pigeon asks repeatedly to drive the bus and the children respond by yelling, “no”.
A fun activity we also do when the children ask are dance parties. The kids really enjoy being able to get moving and show off their dance moves.
Finally, we also had a “Me and My Special Person” day at school, which each child got the invite a special guest to spend time with and do a special activity.
