Sukkot is the Harvest holiday, and we celebrate at Silverman Preschool by enjoying meals in the Sukkah, shaking the Lulav and etrog, and decorating this temporary dwelling with beautiful art and different kinds of fruit. We cover our shelter with palm leaves, and we welcome everyone to join us in the Sukkah. The children did a fantastic job of decorating our Sukkah this year, and they spent most of the week having snack and lunch in the Sukkah, along with hebrew lessons from Morah Lili. It was an exciting week and a wonderful holiday.
