Silverman’s Toddler class has been very busy these last few weeks. The kids have been busy doing sandal art, crab art, and Purim art. On Wenesday’s, the class has started doing cooking projects and has made things such as homemade jam, pancakes, and smoothies. The kids loved eating their delicious creations. On Friday’s Efrochim does science. We have done various experiments such as skittles in water, mentos with coke, and squirt chalk. Its so fun to watch the kids eyes light up as stuff is happening.
The toddlers have been working hard on recognizing colors and shapes and doing various activities to help practice that, such as color sorting and introducing patterns.
We have read books in the last few weeks that discuss topics such as sharing, listening ears, and Purim.
Since its spring, we have enjoyed talking and learning about the garden… what it can do and what can grow in it. We have also explored our senses by rubbing mint between their hands and smelling it.
