Miss Jodi and Miss Nikki’s Parparim class has been very busy in the month of September. We worked on our class tree, adding bumble bees and apples to celebrate Rosh Hashana. We made collages and a big class paper chain to hang in the Sukkah.
September was also busy with activities, including writing in our journals. Each student spent one-on-one time with Miss Jodi on colors, numbers, shapes, and picture stories. We mixed primary colors using paint, play-dough, and water with food coloring. We have been reading “Little Blue and Little Yellow” by Leo Lionno and “Brown Bear, Brown Bear” by Eric Carle to talk about colors even more.
We have used a variety of items in our sensory bin, such as slime, shredded paper, play-dough, and apples. Thank you to all the friends who brought in Birthday treats so we could celebrate together.
