The 2018/19 school year has begun and the Efrochim class is in full swing! In September we introduced ourselves and talked about family and friendship.
We celebrated the Jewish New Year of Rosh Hashanah by exploring the fall harvest fruit. We made applesauce, did apple art, and read the Story of “The Apple Star”.
We learned about Sukkot by reading the book “A Watermelon in the Sukkah” and we celebrated with Rabbi Josh and cantor Hanan in the Sukkah.
September was also a month for celebrating birthdays and encouraging independence. What a great start to the year!
