The 2018 / 2019 school year has begun! Silverman’s Tziporim 2 class was busy celebrating the Jewish New Year and Sukkot.
We read “Jonah and the Whale”and “Apples, Apples, Apples” this month. The kids got to also pick a fruit to decorate and hang in our Sukkah.
We worked on our fine and gross motor skills this first month of school. Playing catch and playing on bikes and scooters helped us with our gross motor skills, while working with chalk, paint, and markers helped us with our fine motor skills. As a class, we also practiced our colors, shapes, and numbers using flash cards and had a lot of fun!
Tziporim 2 has had a busy start to the school year. September was a time for sharing and wishing everyone a happy and healthy New Year. As we move on from the high holy days, the class will be talking about all things fall.
