Silverman’s Pre-K class has continued on their alphabet journey…. Most recently, the children have been learning and studying all things to do with the letters, “R, S, and T.” For the letter “R” the children painted and created rock puppets and robots. For the letter, “S”, the kids studied Picasso by learning about him and recreating some of his paintings. And finally, for the letter, “T”, the kids did tissue art, creating tiger puppets, and painting with trucks. The kids have also been doing shaving cream and water colors science experiments, practicing kindness as a social skill, and signing birthday cards as they learn their own birthdates.
The books Kochavim has recently studied have been books that have helped them learn about Passover traditions. The children also read some other books for fun, such as “Brown Bear, Brown Bear” and “Is Your Bucket Full”. Rabbi Dorsch even came to visit the class and read the kids a Passover story.
The Kochavim class has done their part in keeping the Silverman campus beautiful, by participating in a class trash pick up around the playground. THANK YOU KOCHAVIM!
