The main focus these past few weeks with Silverman’s Shorashim class has been springtime! The class has kept busy doing many art projects that involve the use of flowers, leaves, and ice cubes. The babies have also done some art using their hands and feet and will be making more flowers, bugs, and other spring art in the upcoming weeks as well.
As always, the infant teachers are busy working with the babies on their fine / gross motor and sensory skills.
The class has been reading Disney’s “Up” book and other spring books.
Spring Food and fruits transforming into flowers and the study of bugs have also been a part of the spring time curriculum.
Shorashim also discussed Passover during the month of March. The class created artwork for Passover, such as finger painting Elijah’s cup, Moses Going Down the Nile and The Burning Bush.
