It has been all about winter in Silverman’s Tziporim 2 class…. We have been busy working on lots of projects that integrate the theme of winter, such as making snowmen, snowflakes, gloves, scarves, a snow tree, penguins, polar beers, and ice skates! The children have loved all of the art they have created, and it has been so much fun watching them.
At the beginning of the month, we talked about Chanukah and practiced lighting our pretend menorah everyday. We also learned and practiced songs for our Chanukah performance. As a class, we have also been busy practicing our counting skills, recognizing colors and shapes, learning our letters, and cutting with scissors.
It’s been a busy last few weeks of 2018 and we cannot wait to see what January has in store.
